Welcome to the I-FOCUS Study
In social situations, being overly focused on yourself can lead to increased feelings of anxiety, self-consciousness, and difficulties interacting with others.
I-FOCUS is a research study at the University of Washington that aims to understand self-focused attention and how it relates to treatment success. We are offering treatment at no cost.

For individuals between 18 to 45 years old who experience distressing self-focused thoughts in social situations.
The I-FOCUS study aims to help individuals with significant social fears and distress about their appearance through cognitive behavioral therapy.

What is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)?
CBT is a first-line psychological treatment that helps people learn strategies to combat unwanted thoughts and behaviors.
