Eligibility Criteria
Criteria for Clinical Group
- Age 18-45
- No fMRI contraindications (ex: no unremovable metal in or on body, not pregnant)
- Fluent in English and willing to provide informed consent
- Must be available Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00am-6:00pm to participate
- Must be living within the Greater Seattle area and be able to commute to the University of Washington for regular study visits
- Treatment seeking individuals who have significant appearance concerns AND/OR significant fear of social situations
Don’t experience social anxiety or body dysmorphic concerns?
- Similar criteria above apply to our healthy control participants.
- No lifetime diagnoses or experiences with a mental health condition.
