Eligibility Criteria
Criteria for Clinical Population
- Age 18-45
- No fMRI contraindications (ex: no unremovable metal in or on body)
- Fluent in English and willing to provide informed consent
- Must be available Monday-Friday between the hours of 8-6 to participate
- Must be living in the Seattle (or Greater Seattle area) and be able to commute to the University of Washington as needed
- Treatment seeking individuals who have significant appearance concerns OR significant fear of social situations
Don’t experience social anxiety or body dysmorphia?
- Similar criteria above apply to our healthy control participants.
- No lifetime diagnoses or experiences with a mental health condition
